New ySite Launch: Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville

We're excited to announce the launch of the new Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville website. This new site is responsive, user-and-mobile-friendly, and can be easily updated by staff members through a seamless content management system designed with YMCAs in mind. The Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville has served the community since 2001 with over 2,100 individual members and averages more than 71,000 visits per year. Let’s look at how this new website will support this Y in providing health and well-being programs for its community.

With a new website and content management system (CMS), Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville can easily:

Custom Mobile-Friendly Website Design 

• On the homepage, you'll see a looped video that shows clips of various programs and services at the Y. We wanted to use video in this way to give visitors a quick overview of all the Y has to offer. 
• Using the Web Pages Module in 立博客户端app下载 Freedom, YMCA staff can easily create and add new pages to the website for wellness classes, camps, child care, or event programs that need a landing page.
• The navigation menu on this new site is simple, easy to use, and is also designed as a sticky menu that moves with the page so visitors can always find what they're looking for--no matter where they are on the site. Plus, with the dropdown menus available for some main menu items, visitors can quickly get to the specific page they're looking for without having to click through several different pages. 

Featured YMCA Web Pages

• Using 立博客户端app下载’s Schedules Module on the Group Exercise page, members can view classes in a lister view by day or month along with class intensity levels such as beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
• Utilizing a donation page is critical for all YMCAs to help families who need financial assistance and for growing the programs offered. This Y’s Donation page makes it easy for individuals to donate directly from their site with one-time or monthly options and donation amounts.
• Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville uses third-party software (Daxko) on their pages: Join Online, Program Registration, and Donations. When you have a ySite, we can seamlessly integrate third-party software right inside your website if needed. 
• If you visit Facility Amenities in the dropdown menu under Our Y, visitors can virtually tour the facility by checking out the image galleries and information about the Wellness Center, Group Exercise Studio, Cycling Room, Gym/Walking Track, and Climbing Wall. Showcasing your Y’s facility through great imagery and storytelling can encourage people to come visit and join the recreation center.
